How do you make more time?

Hello everyone. It’s been a while since I posted a little blog and this time I want your tips and tricks on how to create more time. I keep having the same struggle over and over of feeling tired because as soon as I am somewhat awake, my brain will not let me sleep. It will start to just constantly remind me of all the things I need to do and how much time I have left to get them done. They’re not necessarily things that are “do or die” but more like things that will help me feel better if I complete them. Usually the list is always the same though, go to the gym, make lunch for the next day, clean, take my dogs for a long walk, fix my hair and do my makeup to make content, work on an outfit for an upcoming show, manage to get at least 7 hours of sleep.

My brain will constantly keep reminding me that I need to do these things since 6am even though the day before it would not let me fall asleep until midnight or after. I wake up so tired that I just want to enjoy sleeping in and it will make me stay in bed trying to fall back asleep until 10am causing me to lose some of that time that I have for the day.
I have a regular 9-5 Monday through Friday so the weekend is all I get to enjoy my time and instead I always feel so stressed out that I’ve wasted it doing nothing. Does anyone else go through this? What can I do to just stop feeling so anxious?

Hey there, @meloncali: Sleepness sucks, I'm sorry it's been challenging - this happens to me a lot, too. Guided meditation, coupled with a little melatonin usually helps. It's also good to remind yourself of all the things that you DID accomplish that day, and give yourself a pat on the back for them. However tempting it might be to stay in bed to try to keep on sleeping (and not being to do so), I often feel it's sometimes better for me just to wake up and move on with my day. It also helps me then feeling tired enough in the evening to fall asleep a little more easily. I hope you're feeling better! <3
