Horror is my favorite genre and I watch horror movies year round. I love all sub genres within horror too! I’ll watch classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, creature from the black lagoon and even the new stuff now. From all of these great films, I think I have to give it up to the first horror movie I can remember watching that actually made me wet my pants. Of course I was just a kid, about 5 years old, when I watched it but it gave me nightmares for years!
I couldn’t walk by the sewers or shower at night thinking a clown would appear out of nowhere. If that doesn’t give it away, let me reveal the movie that haunted me for years. The 1990 Stephen King classic, IT! Now it is one of my absolute favorites to re-watch at night when I can’t sleep. The remake was good, they were able to accomplish a lot the original could not do at the time but classics are always better in my opinion. Tim curry was and always will be Pennywise for me.
