With Elliot leaving, I am left up to my own devices at paying the rent 
So I told my boss(es) that I would need to get a second job to be able to pay the rent. Last night I went in to work and the main boss Cheryl (the mom) called me up front. She doesn't like her people working second jobs, mainly b/c she doesn't like to deal with scheduling, although I wouldn't let anybody schedule me during the time I work there but nonetheless.
I got an .85 raise and an extra 8 hours a week so now I don't have to get a second job WOOT! It's so awesome. Sometimes I think of finding a better job but then they do something like this and really pull through for me, that I would feel terribly guilty leaving them.

raises are a good thing. I wish my boss would give me one lol. Well if i get this new job he'll have the option of beating what the school district will offer me or i say bye. I'm glad u dont have to work 2 jobs tho thats always a relief. Are u back to regularly playing eq again or just off and on when u feel bored lol? I understand working in customer service lol i did that for a few years till i got my current job. Well i dont feel like raiding tonight so i guess i'm just gonna chill and watch movies or something.

It's great that the boss is willing to help you out when you need it. Especially for a small business, every little bit matters, so you must be doing a pretty good job for them... and good deal for them they recognized it.
