Work again.. when does it ever stop. I have found that while animals are nice.. the ones in cages take alot of cleaning to keep it from being smelly. Last week Cocoa the rat had babies. So I put off cleaning as long as possible so as to not upset her b/c I didn't want her killing her babies. Finally yesterday I was like omg eww I have to clean this cage out, which poor Lila; it was her cage first and Cocoa was just gotten to keep Lila company. They got in a fight the day the babies were born so I had to pull Lila out. Anyways, the babies are so cute. There are five white ones, two black ones with white feet and bellies and white tips on their tails; and one brown one with white belly and feet and tail tip just like mama rat. They should be opening their eyes within a couple days.

Keilala shed aout 2 weeks ago, and of course the week she takes to shed I don't feed her b/c it can cause problems when they are in that stage. That's her pic in profile lol. Wesnesday is her normal feeding day. I brought home the jumbo rat in a box to small for me to grab his tail and throw into feeding box, so I'm trying to shake him out into the feeding box and not get in the way of a hungry 7foot snake. Well, 2sec.s into shaking I see this blur and then BAM the bottom of the box bursts open as I see a few seconds of rat. and then both snake and rat are in box so I close it real quick. She gets so grumpy on feeding days, probably only time she scares me lol.
