Reflecting on all of the trials and tribulations I've been thrown in life is something I end up doing regularly. I see the good in everyone, and in the world, but so often bad things cloud my vision, so I retreat indoors and turn off the news. Sometimes I forget that good things really do happen too.
What I am most thankful for is having had the opportunity to encounter so many truly wonderful people in my life, who left huge impressions on me, even though so many of them have passed away. My grandma, Josh, Dylan, Brenda, Tod, Khaleya... I love you all.
I'm also thankful for having a very supportive and loving family who adores my weirdness and supports me in following my dreams, traveling around the world, and helping me grow. Having a hard working boyfriend who continuously learns with me and teaches me new things. A mother who has stood by my side my entire life and has always put me first, through everything. And, of course, my kitties, who always greet me with a friendly tail and gentle nudges.
