1) I'm still looking for that elusive "happy medium." I still believe it exists, even if I've rarely witnessed it myself. If I manage to find it again, I'll call you and give you directions to it.

3) Yeah, work ALWAYS blows. Current campaign job aside, I've never found a job that didn't have its downside. And I'm sure that campaigning has its downside too...I'm just too new at it to have figured out what that is just yet.
