Chicago was amazing. I've been to the city before but I've never been able to stay longer than the concert I'm going to see. It was very very cold, snowy and beautiful. I can't wait to go back and visit in the spring.

I'm currently drinking peppermint tea because it makes my throat feel nice. And I'm going back and forth between reading, writing and playing on here. I haven't written in a while, it really is therapeutic. I forgot how much I enjoy writing when there is no real goal in mind, just being free with my words and thoughts. I have fun going through all of the old stuff I've written and trying to imagine where I was in my life at that point. Looking at old situations with new perspectives is always interesting. Seeing where I've grown and where I've stayed the same.

I cleaned my apartment today. It's refreshing... and it smells like lemon.
