Here's my question for you: Can you forgive someone who does not ask for your forgiveness? Should you?
I don't want to seem so negative all the time. There is joy here. There is. But this has been such a difficult year for me. Joseph Campbell said, "All life is sorrowful." It is the nature of living. And I say, "yes. I see that now. Yes." It makes the good times sweeter, right?
It's sorrowful because we're self-aware. Because we taught ourselves language, and now we spend too much time naming our emotions.

forgiveness is so hard, but so necessary. grudges are draining. sometimes, you just have to forget. at least, that's how i see it.
