the world is actually looking brighter. it's finally fall and today is absolutely gorgeous. i love fall - the trees are changing from green to bright reds and burnt oranges. went to unca today to fill out necessary forms to send off my last transcript. trying to find my way around made me feel really old. unca reminded me of a high school vortex. teenagers socializing on the quad, superficial conversations, "oh that new emo cd is so super cool" sheesh.... i don't remember what it feels like to be young. my poor scientific mindset. hopefully soon i'll find out if i was accepted (not worried) and get to go back into the lab.

car still doesn't work. i'm still broke. i hate not doing what i love. people are callous. i did rule the world once, right? at least it's still pretty outside and i get to run around with the dog.
