Merry X-mas everyone! I hope that everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends.
I had a pretty sucky night. I left work early to go catch a bus to Knoxville so that I could drive my car home. This town does not have a greyhound station anymore or even a ticket office. I stood out on the street in a bus shelter waiting. Unfortunately, we had freezing rain and icy streets and then it warmed above freezing, but there was still ice everywhere. I waited 2 hours in the cold and rain and then had to call Brad to come and get me. I had toesicles and wet feet and was frozen all over. Apparently, even though I called greyhound and the Indy terminal, and Lisa called greyhound and the Knoxville terminal they showed no delays or cancellations......when you could actually get someone to answer the phone. Unbeknownst to me, there were sections of interstate that were shut down. Sigh. I will be here in Indiana and will travel Friday night and drive back on Sunday.
I went to the mall today and heard 2 songs that made me reminisce. I walked into the mall and heard The Waitressess christmas song. This reminds me of Calhouns in Knoxville. This was on the christmas music track there and we all loved it.
I also heard this and it reminded me of someone......and I have been thinking about him BUNCHES!
