Xmas eve party sucked. But I did get to spend about 20 minutes oogling you know who. Not a totalally bad day lol. Sounds like it might be a case of I'm-so-in-thrall-I've-turned-into-a-blithering-idiot-itis. No known cure though it does seem to go away after awhile if you don't constantly feed it (same with guys, you need to feed us constantly, too).
Go with it, learn to speak in his presence and enjoy the ride. There are worse ways to be so fucked.

It's true; you can't substitute someone else for being happy with yourself first. Been there, tried that (and dated people who tried that). Doesn't work. It's good that you figured it out early; took me a bit longer. Hope it works out for you.
