Being broke fucking sucks. I think I've maxed out my credit card in attempts at making ends meet. Bloody hell.

I have a boyfriend. His name is Rob. He's a U.S. Marine. Yea.. I always said I'd never date one of those (haha).. but alas, it's hard to resist when you have so much in common that it becomes uncanny. So far so good.. but you know how shit can go downhill in a blink of an eye.

We're going to the Marine Corps Ball. I'm excited. It's next Tuesday, the 9th. I already have my gown. It's white.

I aced my midterm which I'm pretty happy about. I'm proud of myself that I'm able to keep up with such a hectic and grueling schedule. It's been work Mon-Fri, class Sat&Sun.. and spending time with Rob wherever I can fit him in.. for the last 2 months. Sometimes I feel really exhausted by it.. but I keep telling myself... "one more month.." Those are the words that apparently are getting me by.

I hope everyone is doing well. And thank you very much for all the wonderful birthday wishes. I'm 20, yay. I'm relieved to have finally dropped the word "teen" from my age.
