this is the first time in awhile (in my ilfe, really) i have had nowhere to go. you know, it really is a shame that people do not pay attention to anything unless it directly involves them. that is a good way to miss lots of lessons. a person like me could scream something valuable, but if you did not hear your name, you would not notice a voice at all.

i want to enroll in some college classes come December. The parental unit is dishing out the pressure. hurrah hurrah. i hope this "wasted potential" brick everyone slams me in the face with is not just a red herring . . . .

not so long ago a friend [actually] said this to me : "you would be more appealing if you got new glasses, wore less extreme make up, cut your hair, and dressed differently . . . . "

and, of course, we all know what that REALLY says.

i just thought it was interesting. in life, usually people only allow you to know of the compliments about how they are nothing short of gorgeous, genius and perfect. well, i am none of those. something else, maybe. as a matter of fact people often say, "hey, you're really something else".
