Christ on a fucking crutch! I hate stage mothers! I managed to piss off my first parent tonight (I am directing a high school play). When a kid only shows up to two rehearsals out of seven and the play is to be performed in less than a month, they shouldn't be surprised when their parts have been given to someone else!!!!! And it is never a good idea for a young man to bring his mother to do his bitching!!! I kept myself in check (full teacher face) and didn't say anything bad; I simply told her that her son had missed more rehearsals than he had actually shown up to. She ranted about how he had sports and family, blah fuckin blah. All the other kids have other activities; one boy runs over from football practice and gobbles dinner between scenes. But, when she started to insult my other kids, I told her she had said enough. Oh, she said she will go to the principal and the school board, I said "OK" and went back to work. So now I just have to say Fuck, fuckity, fuck fuck fuck I hate stupid fucking people! (I held that in for over an hour). I need a drink.
