so the landlady hasn't gotten back to me yet, but i don't care anymore. if i get it, then i have a nice place in a good location, if i don't, i have more time to save money and i don't have to deal with her anymore. i'm just afraid of staying at my parents' house until i have "enough" money. pay my back bills.. then fix my car.. then save a little for a rainy day.. home home home.. a place to rest my weary head, just for me.

work is.. work. as usual. pass the time, get paid. monkeys could do it. smart monkeys, but still monkeys.

still no poem.. i'm working on making one. i'll have it for next week, i guess. i'll have somthing beautiful for next week.

i like how oil spreads if you pour it out. smooth and slow. like falling asleep.

At some point just about everything seems that way: try, try, try -- and then give it up and let the universe, or God, or luck take over. Writing's even this way for me. I get to a certain point and close my eyes, keep going.

You'll get a weary-head-resting place, I'm sure.

Mei, if you are considering comming to Australia, skip Perth, Western Australia. It's where I live. It's a bit of a drag. It's perfect for old folk to retire, but useless if you want a career. I had my big break about 6 years ago, but now have the urge to move on to bigger and better things and that means moving to either the eastern states (Sydney, Melbourne, etc) or overseas. I'll post some Perth pics later this week to give you an idea, kay?
