and suddenly, and unexpectedly, the fog lifts. i have an interview on saturday. the job doesn't pay well, and it's not many hours, but it's a job. and if i get it, i can work at two jobs, which i think might be better anyway - less boring that way. i'd be working in a physical therapy office, doing front desk stuff, and also being an assistant to the therapists. it sounds like fun and interesting stuff.
our house is a hellhole right now. the housemates are moving things all over the place, and there are papers and boxes and stuff all over the place. i'm pretty excited, though, about the prospect of cleaning a bunch of stuff up and having space to move furniture around. we had so much furniture that we didn't really have that many options of ways to arrange the house - now we do.
i just took my last final. i talked to my prof, and she said that i should redo an essay, but it shouldn't take that long. so i'm basically done. woo! it's so very anticlimactic. i'm glad i celebrated heavily at renn fayre, though - it made everything better.
the other good thing about a part time job is that if i'm working mornings (like 8-12 or something) i can have the whole afternoon to play in the sun, and then i can do something part time in the evenings. that would make me happy.. that's one of the reasons that i'd like to work a graveyard shift. if i wanted to, i could sleep in the sun all day.
we're going to make tasty food tonight. seared ahi with wasabi-soy marinade, grilled asparagus, and rice. the ahi is fun - you take the coals and put them in a chimney. the ahi is on a metal skewer, little chunks maybe 1.5 inches on a side. once the chimney is really really hot, you hold the ahi over it for just a minute on each side, and it sears it maybe 1/8 inch in, and the rest is all raw. mmmmmm...
i bought gravity's rainbow the other day.. i still haven't started it - maybe i'll do that tonight. i haven't been sucked into a book in quite awhile.
i'm looking for something beautiful, and though i'm finding it no words are pouring out of it. so i guess this is the end, for now.
write something for me, will you? haiku, limerick, prose, whatever. maybe it'll be an inspiration.

I noticed you posted something about wishing you had gone to the Dahlia video shoot. If I do another video for them I'll be sure to get them in it, you have a cool look.
