today i cleaned the kitchen floor in a short skirt. it was too hot out for anything else - 75 degrees in october. humid, too. i scrubbed and scrubbed. wet dirty knees and my hair in my face. singing, too, an octave up from the stereo. i hit all the high notes.
then i cleaned my room. swept the wood floors and put up some pictures. listened to the rain.
today i'm happy.

I haven't even left my room yet... some of your enthusiasm must have rubbed off on me, just got sudden urge to get up have a shower stop wasting Sunday! Pull back the curtains and realise it's 3.00pm !! ! !! ARGH
