No time for a long entry but I saw Tool on Wednesday with Jill. It was amazing. We got a hotel in Peoria that night (even though you DO have to be 21 to check in, the guy at the desk posted his ID for us). My only complaint about the concert is that the crowd was kind of rude and so you could tell the band wasn't really as into it as concerts I've seen before. The vocals were also drowned out a lot.

I went to see The 69 Eyes on Sunday. Now THAT was a FUCKING AMAZING concert. One of my german blog buddy people introduced me to the group when I was younger and I fell in love with the music. I went to see them on Superbowl Sunday when they opened for Cradle of Filth and that was great but this concert was like ten times better. Two of the openers kicked ass. Fair to Midland and Wednesday 13. Wednesday 13 isn't really a band I'd ever listen to at home but they did put on a fun show. Fair to Midland just kicks ass. The second best part of the evening was watching The 69 Eyes play... They were so ON. And the only reason that was only the second best part was because I got to FUCKING MEET THEM AFTER THE SHOW!!!! ZOMG!!!! Okay. I can't even express how amazing it is to meet some of your idols and really feel that they WANT to meet you. They were interested in their fans and it was just wonderful.
