Tonight we went to "The Grotto" in portland. I had never been there before, but I knew it was a catholic thing. It was actually pretty cool...there were a ton of christmas lights, a bunch if interesting statuary...Its like a big jesus themepark, but in a good way. I guess that it is a place of meditation year round..but around the holiday season they zam it up.
It wasnt so bad though. I am not a catholic..or a christian...but I can appreciate the art. Plus it was a great opportunity to wear the kid out
This was interesting to me. I like candles. Candles make fire.

It was hard to get pictures, there were a ton of people milling about. It was dark, and you couldnt use flash photography in the chapel (where most of the cool shit is) So alas. I didnt get a ton of good pictures. Tomorrow I hope to get out and play some more with the camera. It does so many different things, its gonna take me a week to figure it all out. *I love it*
