Resting up tonight for the big halloween party at Kingwood Haus tomorrow. This will be the first one I attend without Paul, so my social anxiety is kicking into high gear. Still, Kat and Rocky will be there, as well as lots of other people I can stand to be in the same room with. Since I don't have the body to slut it up, I'm taking the conceptual costume route. I'm going as "A Lifetime Original Movie", a housedress and apron complete with black eye and running mascara. I've asked around, and the general opinion is that it's not in terrible taste for me to dress up as a battered housewife.
