Well I'm back and ready for work (sort of).
We had a most relaxing time on Stradbroke, which included lots of laying around, reading, drinking, swimming, and sun.
Surprisingly at the end of it all we only came out a little pinkish.
The first two nights were so dredfully hot I kept waking up, spread out on my back, and sweating frofusly. It did however slowly cool down with beautiful shows of stormage on the horizon. The last two nights were of wet and windy bliss, storming with almost horizontal rain and lightning rom all angles. The perfect sleeping tempurature.
We were going to go for a boat dive on the last day, that being the downside of storms, choppy seas, and with E NE winds, attracting the blue bottles.
We did however get plenty of snorkelling done the first couple of days just off the shore, exploring past the sand bar. I dont know where they got all that Bull Shark nonsense from. We didnt see any. It was almost ashame, but I guess it was a good thing seeing as they are more of an agressive species of shark.
That is all.
