Last weekend was the most relaxing weekend I've had in ages! Jakie and myself went over to North Stradbroke Island (Straddie) for the Manta Fest that Manta Lodge holds every year. The Lodge is run by James and every year we have a Manta Festival and a Shark Festival. The Festivals are held around the times that the Manta's and Sharks come in to mate. They are so beautiful, though this year I didn't quite make it into the water. As soon as the Boat Stopped I was over the edge talking to Herbert and attracting the fish... I get chronic sea sickness. Though I sometimes can just make it in the water. But most of the time even that doesn't make me feel better. (Queen of vomiting through the regulator, gross i know)
But apart from that, all was great. Oh wait. Jake decided to half chop his finger off while chopping veges for the big BBQ at the end of the day. So James and I took him up to the Clinic so they could glue it (an alternative in most cases to stitches). Poor lil' bugger. APART from that LOL, everything was great. I haven't been there in so long its my second home. it WAS my home there for three or four months of my life. James is like my brother, he'd do almost anything for me. So what ever I'm doing there, I'm happy. Hopefully next time I go over there I'll have my license though..
