This dress shall be mine! It's an early birthday present for myself. Actually, if it gets much more expensive I'm going to stop bidding because I can't afford it, but I think I'd look moderately nice in it, so it's probably worth a few of my loan pounds



[edit::] The dress got too expensive for a dress that I don't get to try on first, so I'm thinking I'll just spend a few more pounds and go to Get Cutie, try one on and then buy it. Sounds much more fun to me.

I'm painfully sunburnt, and loathing all things statistical. NSDstat keeps imploding on me and refusing to reopen for a few minutes every time, which also means that all the crosstabs and stuff I've been doing are lost, never to be seen again.

This may or may not explain why I've been browsing around sg all day.

thanks for the sympathies, it's been an up and down week with all that's been going on (my niece & nephews birthdays were just a few days after my gran died). besides everyone pushing the witch-aunt away, it's brought the rest of the family together, which is all good.

about the dress... it looks grand, but do you just pretend your birthday is much closer than it actually is to justify buying extravagant gifts for yourself? sounds like a plan! biggrin

I dread to think what will happen on the holiday. Hell, I think, would seem like a paradise after that. It's going to be a hefty test of my patience and my ability to get drunk as quickly as I can!
