The day of my birthday, nobody in my family called. My friends did not call. My children were demons. My husband forgot.

I must have confused the birthday fairy by opening my presents early.

I did make out like a bandit, but I'm still... selfishly disappointed.

Awwww, I'm so sorry to hear that!! My ex used to always forget my bday and for some reason my kids always seem to act like monsters on that day too, dunno why!! Give your hubby a kick in the ass for me....and I send you a big bday hug and kiss!! kiss

He was extremely apologetic about it, at least. He gave me huge hugs and even changed the event he'd planned for me from Sunday to Saturday... but the kids were still beasts and sucked the joy out of it. It is possible that they were just picking up on my own depression over my mom not being here for this one. Ah well.
