Tell us about your favorite set and the day you shot it.
My favorite set that I've shot so far is "Ethereal" which hasn't gone into MR yet but it will in 3 months! ☺️
Ethereal is my favorite set because of what I think it stands for. The definition of the word ethereal is "too delicate or light for this world."
Let me go into more detail. So starting my journey to become a hopeful you get all these crazy ideas. Someone told me about model mayhem, so I was looking for a photographer to help me shoot a set or at least some exposure. Well one night I was contacted by a male photographer who wanted to give me some crazy big opportunity and of course me being new to the industry accepted. The next day I went to meet up with him to talk about paperwork and was assaulted by the man. I can't tell you how shitty you feel. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go at that point. If I wanted to continue with SG or just give up. So I said I'll do one more set but I'll do it right. I got on model mayhem ONE last time and I met Kaley who owns Wildly coherent photography. We talked for a couple of days and I told her about the male photographer and how I hadn't done any shoots since and she made it really easy for me to communicate with her. We met up a few weeks later for our shoot, in a little garage apartment we were renting. We shot Ethereal and all that emotion i had built up just poured out into the set. I think that emotion is truly what makes Ethereal an amazing set. I named it Ethereal because of how fragile you can be when it comes to sexual assault. It shakes your world and really try's you. Ethereal is my motivation to become a SG. It will always be my favorite set. Thanks for reading!!
