RARARARARRARGGGG.....I just wrote out a whole wonderful account of my mini holiday and bleeped it away with the touch of a button

oh well, round 2:
I had a really awesome (though slightly wet) weekend with jstone up on the island. It was great just to get some fresh air, run on the beach with the dog and sit by the fire. We had a massive dinner with all of the crazy loc(al)s, many of whom I definitely missed and really wanted to catch up with.... Drunken merryment ensued, but I was just happy to escape to the garden and sit in the trees
there was tons of stuff to do.....chopping and carrying wood, siding, shingling, cooking, baking, but it was all worth it in the end, and was just enough that I was fully exhausted and happy, and had forgotten about the real world
-----plus I got to binge for three days on rich easter food and goodies-----
There was half a lamb, a turkey, pork
potatoes of all kinds
terrific salads...including this strawberry/spinich/nut thing that I loved
mmmm.... and breads and CHEESES...... (think cheese that's 2 feet across, and Canadian swiss and all sorts of good stuff)
jstone's boss baked woven egg bread - very impressive and unexpected
and the desserts nearly killed me
really.... I'm lucky to be here
Anyways....eventually school called me back, though not for long now I suppose....my classes and April 8th, and my last exam is on the 20th
Then off to Whistler!!
I had better get a job soon though...becuase the (high) rent won't pay itself....
I had a really good weekend for decisions too....
1. Not going to school next year <--- this was a big one
I'm going to work and train (climbing and martial arts)
for 8 months, and then travel for 3 or 4
and I will go back to school to finish my degree after that
2. I'm buying a truck
I actually need a vehicle for the summer
just a little one though
it makes sense for the stuff I'm going to be doing
3. I'm getting my nipples peirced <--- this one's just for fun
Ah well..... have to go write up an outine......
