i'm teaching the girls i work with about feminism & women's history this week. the official teacher for my group is out of town this week &, as the "paraprofessional" teacher & daytime senior counselor, i'm in charge this week.
they're into it. i'm surprised. it feels good.
turns out, teaching comes naturally to me. it just flows. it's a relief. i never would've seen myself standing in front of a bunch of teenagers who have failed to thrive in typical school settings, engaging them in conversation for extended periods of time...getting them excited about something.
once again, i kick ass.
in other news, i haven't had my period for 3 weeks.
{edit for clarification: i mean, it's 3 weeks LATE. oops.}
& i don't have sex with boys (or haven't in quite some time, anyway).
so i think i may be the vessel for the second coming of christ. or perhaps it's satan's child -- i think i'll name him nefarious...

neither do i know what frock means, but if i had to guess, it would be something you wear.
english english is so fucked up. esp because the english like to never exactly mean what they say--so words are defined certain ways, but dont really mean those things in regular conversation.
they just got self-check out lanes here and my dude turned to me the other day and said "i can't believe they did that--what with all the dishonesty here". i really do miss things about the US
