my girlfriend is buying a house. it is a cute house. & i get the master bedroom, master bath with jacuzzi tub, TWO (count 'em TWO!) walk-in closets, tray ceilings, & french doors leading out to the back deck with a view. oi. i am a lucky little soul.
the strangest thing -- i don't feel a whole lotta fear about moving in with her. & we've been together a mere 9 months. feels like forever. we communicate & fight well. i think it'll all be okay. i mean, we have our own rooms.
i believe i have overcome my addiction to simultaneous codependence & mental abuse of my partners. i need no more distance than a friend & another friend.
i may be jinxing myself as i type. but i can't wait. if only it didn't cost 300 more dollars than my current cheap-ass rent.
oh well. it's worth it.
YAY! the semester is close to its finish. only one presentation & two papers from the end. & a summer to follow.
ONE STUPID THING: my ex-boyfriend moved out of his apartment, leaving behind 2 of my favorite paintings. he said he'd send 'em. then he said i could come to chattenooga to pick 'em up. then he tells me he left them at his old apartment because his girlfriend feels sooo threatened by me that he knew he shouldn't have anything in his possession related to me. so he left 'em when he moved. then his old roommates sold them, thinking they belonged to their new roommate who happened to be an artist & owed them lots of money because he was a cokehead & hadn't paid bills in a bit. my ex was like, "you should be flattered. someone wanted to pay for your work." yeah, thanks. that's cool & everything, but I didn't get any money & they were MINE. & i wouldn't have sold them. i loved them. what a prick.
still, i'm a cat stretching in the sun. all is well in the land of medusaQ.

anyway. i miss you and would love to talk soon. if you have some free time next week drop me a line and let me know when i can call you. we haven't spoken for ages and i have about 4 million things going on at the moment. much to discuss/update. besides, i want to hear how you are too.
and i think its probably a good sign that you are not afraid to move in with your lady. with some people, you just intuitively know that things will go well. i liked you from the start and it still blows me away how you could complete my sentences so quickly after meeting me. (unless i'm just that simple?!
