This past month has seen me in Seattle and some deliciously nonhumid parts of the Pacific Northwest, including Bainbridge Island and Sequim, and then down to L.A. and all of the fantastic adjoining cities there. A wedding, sightseeing, reuniting with old friends, drinking, smoking, the beach, the ensuing sunburn of epic proportions. Fantastic.
Also, tar pits:
Back in Minneapolis, where the humidity hits you like a brick fucking wall when you step off the plane. Working practically full time before my final semester starts. Grr.
Today: Day off. Cleaning and some quality cat time. And, if it doesn't rain, convincing my boy to take me to the State Fair for fried things on sticks.
That's about it.
