Well I promised in my last blog that I'd have a podcast that I participated in my next blog. I expected it a lot sooner than this, I also expected it to be slightly better quality. I should rephrase that. Slightly more professional sounding. Some of it couldn't be helped. One of the panelists Lee I'm not sure was the best fit but it wasn't my podcast to run. So without further ado My first podcast appearance! We discuss Ben Afleck as Batman and get off topic a lot. You can also find it on iTunes as well.
What has been even more frustrating than waiting nearly two weeks for the editing to be completed and the podcast to post is that in the meantime my friend Todd who was on the podcast with me got tired of waiting and made our own where we recap season 3 of The Walking Dead, discuss episode 1 of season 4, zomibies in popular culture, and answer some questions from our fans on the page we run.
The recording went well, we did have a third person join us, and after hours and hours of me editing the podcast I have been unable to upload it to the same site that the other podcast is on. It's 68MB in size and an hour and 15 minutes in duration, which apparently is too big for them? This confuses me because the podcast I guested on was nearly two hours long. I couldn't tell you the file size but I can't imagine that it was smaller than ours when the length is at least 40 minutes longer. I've emailed the site, and attempted to contact the editor of the podcast to see how he was successful.
For now enjoy my first ever appearance on a podcast and hope that I figure out how to upload to this hosting site because short of starting my own website with RSS feeds so I can upload to iTunes, (which would be expensive) I would likely have to pay another site monthly for the same service (which I'd like to avoid until I'm working steady again) unless anyone here knows where I can find a site to host my podcasts for free.
