Well it looked like The Girl might have been free for lunch, she was off work and running errands but she called her daughter in sick and lunch was not to be. It was snowing hard this morning so I can see it, but a little disappointing but hey, I can deal. She is still hoping for sushi next Friday but I wonder if there will be anything there. It's so hard to say one way or another I love technology sometimes but hate it others. This is a hate situation, not a great way to get behavioural cues from text messages.
Regardless I am looking forward to the weekend, I have my son, it is NHL All-Star Weekend which is usually a nice spectacle and my buddy ordered a WWE Pay Per View. Now I'm not a big wrestling fan, but it's a good excuse to see a friend that I don't see often enough.
Also hoping to get to my ex-inlaws? Not sure that is the best way to describe them, but it kinda fits, I set up my buddy Rik with his wife, that is my ex's sister. Get some advise on how to handle her. She has been trying to put herself more and more into my life since I took back the TV. I posted last night about the movie I went to see, well there was a Facebook message waiting for me this morning saying she would have joined me. (I was solo at the theatre) Which is pretty amazing since she doesn't like going to movies, and the last year that we dated of the 14 movies I went to see (invited her to all for dates) she came to exactly ZERO.
I'm afraid that I am going to have to be cruel to ensure that she knows that while I can remain civil and friendly I have a future to move towards and it doesn't include her.
It seems clear that she isn't over me, although I am over her and I am at a loss as to how to handle this gracefully.

And I think your going about things the right way with your ex partner, being civil but clear with boundaries, anything else would just be asking for more pain on both sides.
