I wasn't going to blog today, it had been boring, no hockey, no work, no chats with anyone, then on a whim I went to the movies. I put an open invitation out on Facebook, if it hadn't been on a whim, I would have had company but I saw the film solo which was ok. Oh it was Underworld: Awakening. It was pretty awesome in 3D. I know there are some haters on the 3D films, however I find them to be much clearer than their 2D counterparts, and hey I like having things fly out of the screen at me. Avatar for all it's faults got me hooked it was so visually stunning.
Back to Underworld though. Avatar will be a separate blog someday. I must say Kate Beckinsale was as bad ass as she was in her two previous Underworld films and although I thought Scott Speedman to be done with the franchise there are indications that he will be involved again. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that they left it open for a sequel and considering how much it has already made it seems likely to continue.
While they included humans in the war on Lycans and Vampires I do like how they tied it into the original war and didn't stray far from the established cannon of the first two movies.
Well since I didn't plan to write anything today I should stop there. I feel spoilers on my finger tips so yeah going to stop. Anyway go see the movie! it was awesome.
