So, I'm starting the RUSHFIT program tomorrow... kind of excited, and even a little nervous.



I've had less than perfect luck with these exercise programs (mainly because I can't ever seem to stay interested in them), but I think that this is the one for me.

The nutrition/diet part of it is going to be the hardest, I think. In the past, I've been able to do all the shopping/preparing of meals to lose weight, so I know that it is going to be difficult with absolutely no control over that (other than just picking the right foods from a line-up).

On the Buddhist side of life, I've been reading this book called Freeing the Angry Mind.



It's basically an anger management program, using Buddhism ideals along with cognitive behavioral therapy. Part of the book is creating an "anger control journal," which I've decided to try. I've made it to the second chapter, and it already feels like I've made some form of progress. Hopefully, this (and the new exercise program) turns out to be the beginning of a better me.

anger by thich nhat hanh is a great book you should read. I couldn't put it down and finished it within a day.
