Oooh err! That sounds nasty I remember having tonsillitis when I was a kid, but can't think of any time since then.

You could try taking a different painkiller inbetween the ones you're taking now. When I had my wisdoms out, I remember alternating ibuprofen and paracetamol or something like that. Double check instructions and all that though before you do
