Nothing to be sorry for chica - it was my own stupid fault for getting pissed again and leaving them in the pub. With a bit of luck Jeff might have picked them up before he left. They were only 2 glasses though so no great loss if he never.

me too, i don't often get bothered by those kind of things but this one took the wind out of my sails.
I've made a peel-esque playlist and am going to enjoy that and think of all the great bands that am into down to that one man.

I sent out an email to my mates and a couple of colleagues when I heard the news. The guy in question had never heard of John Peel (even though he's lived here for 8 years. Go figure) and he's an extreme left wing activist so he was giving it all the "how can people be upset about the death of a DJ when there's war happening in the world?" etc etc, and basically called me a sad bastard for being upset about it. What a cock I had to put on my headphones in the end and ignore him before I said something I'd regret. Just because the world is a shithole it doesn't mean we're not allowed to mourn for our heroes
