I played a gig last night with my band, it was really exciting even if the venue was changed at the last minute. The promotor got bumped from his usual venue because the football was on. Which just goes to show the start of the Arts in this country!!!!

Anyway we did get to play a much nicer venue. I have wanted to play there for years and I have seen many a great band there. The sound on stage was a bit dubious but I can't complain as I missed the sound check. Afterwards we got lots of really nice compliments from people, which I am never very good at handling. I never know what to say back. It does make me smile when lots of straingers tell you how much your band rock and I am very proud of our band.

So I am off to dinner with my friend Russell tonight, who some of you may have met at one of the SGUK meets a while back. I am going to eat lots and lots of tapas and drink not too much rioja.
