Tuesday Spew - It's so chunky you can carve it.
Well, I have to hand it to me. I just made 3 meals for less than $5.
500g Mince: $1.66 (half price)
Pasta - 99c (I didn't even use the whole pack)
Pasta Sauce - $1.99 (classic tomato flavour)
It's not all that healthy, but when you're my age it's easy to be ignorant of such details.
Which reminds me....I need to cancel the gym membership I have not used for the last 4 months. I've only put on about 7kg which makes me about 80kg now.
So I'm listening to the new Devin Townsend Band album and finding it very likeable. Not like the old stuff. Hell I could play this with my grandma in the car.
Not that she'd notice because she's sorta deaf and pretty good at tolerating the most irritating sounds on earth. She watches Days of Our Lives and The Young & the Restless every weekday. Oh the humanity. It's not that there is no plot, but most shows could give you the same information in abaout 1/1000th of the time it takes for them to get a conversation out. And don't get me started on the soft lense they use on the camera. It hurts my eyes to watch because I can't focus on anything. May as well take my glasses off and attempt to read the phone book.
But I digress. The point is that it's pretty cheap to live if you try. Even if the entertainment is mind-numbing.

There was this crew of crazy girls from about an hour away up country, they came every weekend and brought us donuts. What kind of diet that was, i don't know, never any food there. Ate real food in a diner or sandwich shop sometimes, and pizza.
The TV never even got pluged in, just a big blank box sitting there, someone brought it over that never actually moved in.
Any way yes you can eat cheap some of the time. Food as we know it coming from all different sources, is I think the best thing the human race has developed. Eat good.( cause you are what you eat ).
