i have not left some scribbles here for a bit
so here is one i call
GRANDFATHER SUN

The warmth of the sun
beaming through my soul
bringing an avalanche of memories
memories of original self
I reach my hands
upward towards the ball of fire in the sky
my fingers began to grow like branches
the ancient grandmothers and grandfathers
bath me in their wisdom
at long last after decades of darkness
I become illuminated
purpose
is now mine
the wind spirits have whispered it to my soul
the rain comes
it floods me with newness
the warmth of the sun
beams upon me again
evaporating my selfishness
everything wells up in me
I am overwhelmed with
jubilation
for on this glorious day
I see the magic of the world
these things that happen
each moment
only I was to lost in the dark
these things like the birds singing
the clouds moving along
and this purpose
my purpose
to help
to share love
to not hurt
to care for all
living beings
To outstretch my hand
to those drowning in that same darkness
I had been lost in
for the first time
I feel this thing that had eluded me for so long
FREEDOM !!!!!
For what was once my damned soul
