this is a peice i wrote as sort of a goodbye to one of the most beautiful people i have ever known
she was so many things to me
and it all added up to she was my goddess here to renew my faith in life
sadly i lost here to cancer
or at least her body
she lives on in my writing because it was she who made me believe in my
writing and she is why i never stop
writting
well i call this one
"MY GODDESS SONJA"
I am so lucky
I remember everything
About everyday I had with you

I am so lucky
That I can say there was this goddess I once knew


When I met you
You were a little girl
Just barely 18
Oh but what a front you put up
I cant lie you had me well at least somewhat fooled

It was not till you were gone that I knew that I was your first for
So many things
You made me great
It was you that pulled so many beautiful creations out of my soul
Even though I only did them to empress you
I am so lucky
That I can still feel how big the star filled sky that we laid under was
So lucky
That I can still hear your voice reading me your poetry that was so naughty
It turned me on

I am so lucky to have had you near me at all

I am so lucky to remember how we basked in the sun like movie stars



I am so sorry
That in the beginning that I took you for granted
I am so sorry
That I wasted any of the time we had wanting you for just your body

I am so sorry that I did not listen to you more closely
So sorry that I did not learn what you had to teach me sooner
But most of all
I am sorry that life can be so cruel
And give us a goddess to walk among us
For us to fall so completely in love with
Only to take her from us so soon
I am so lucky
To have in my heart the undying love
That you gave me
I am so lucky to have the faith in my talent that you showed me

I am so lucky
to have your sweet warm kind loving
face so deeply set in my minds eye


you taught me what friend really means
you showed me real love
I am so lucky
To have known you
