Struggle and fight
I thrash this way and that
But still I remain trapped
Beneath the weight of these chains
I claw and I roar
But it brings no closer
To the skies I wish to soar
Here in what seemed like the end
Hope or heaven
This angel they send
To me
There is amazement as
She kisses me a key
So easily she breaks these chains
Her tender voice sets me free
These chains I fought against for so long
Now she rubs my wings with healing
Soon I will take her hand
We will fly away
I will forget the chains
Some day
