Getting a bit jittery before my first uni exam of the semester tomorrow morning, so figured why not jump on to SG and vent via SG blog?
Pictured is my exam kit. 1x set of Miffy pencils which I bought when I was gigging in Shenzhen, China. 1x snakeskin print pen, which I found a supply of in a franchise stationary shop close to home called Typo... they had 33 of these pens in stock... I bought all 33. 1x big eraser for big mistakes, and 1x tech deck for when I get bored
In other news- I nailed the bass guitar audition for the guys in 'Lock 'n Load'. Which is kinda cool, 'cos it's doing something and keeping me busy while I look for another guitar gig. Another cool thing about the bass gig is that it's given my single channel Krank Chadwick head a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Otherwise completely useless for everything else except for stupid metal stupid core... it loans itself well to bass useage, and I currently have it with Sean at River Music in Windsor to tweak and set up for bass use only, which'll be cool.
So anyway, I need to be up at 6am and out the door of my house in the Lower Blue Mountains by 7am, to beat peak hour traffic and get to uni in time for my exam at 8.30am. If you're not from Sydney, and you're reading this... it probably won't make much sense to you, but for those of you who are- I'm sure you feel my pain :/
