Yo, as a new member (not really new- I forgot the password to my old account, which was deactivated anyway because I received a new credit card, and with it, a new CCV), I've been invited to 'introduce myself to the Suicidegirls Community.
I've just copied and pasted my 'Tell us a little about yourself' secton- see below.
'Sup?
Tell us a little about yourself, you say? I'm a Youth Worker. This means I engage and interact with 'at-risk' young people, aged 13 to 25. At risk means young people who might be homeless, have issues with substance abuse, be aggressive and violent, have issues around domestic violence at home, actively binge drink etc- the list goes on. I refer them onto other services that might be able to provide assistance to them. It's a hard and mentally draining gig, but I absolutely love what I do.
I also play lead guitar in a working cover band called The Summer Sound- look us up on Facebook
