I put up a pool in my back yard over the weekend and now I have a sun burn. 
I'm one of those people that burn really easily (duh, I have freckles), and then it takes ages to turn into a tan. So now I have a perfect tan line from the almost nonexistant "shorts" I was wearing while assembling it. But if It will ever stop raining here for more than 12 hours I might be able to spend some more time outside. It seems to be either sweltering and really humid or raining and... really humid.
My research position I got this summer is going really well. I'm learning to code videos now, and as soon as we get some people to sign up for participation i'll be doing that too. It probably sounds boring to most people, but it's going to be great experience for grad school-- exciting.
