Camping was FUN! FUN! FUN!!!. Lake Tulloch, CA (near Sonora) was a great campsite (we had 4 sites all next to each other). There were 10 tents, 6 Cars and a boat packed into a 4 site space. We got there on Friday afternoon, and left on Sunday afternoon. All together, it was about 17-23 people (14 adults, and 8-10 kids) there on Saturday night. We had a great time. Being dirty got real old, but it was fun going out on the boats and playing on the beach.
The kids had a great time. No major sunburns or bug bits (whew)! There were red ants and lots of tiny spiders, but we had lots of bug spray.
I did end up wearing my bikini, and I think I looked okay (my husband says I looked good). Now that we've got all the stuff, I want to go more often. We'll see what the plan is.
Anyway, wanted to let y'all know that we survived. I got a ton of excersize, so I may have even lost weight. We did eat well, and I haven't smoked that much weed in about 7 yrs! Every time I turned around, there was a bowl or joint or blunt floating around. Lovely....


I don't even want to think about how much work I will have when I go back tomorrow. Oh well. I think I've got a good vacation vibe with me, so if I get fired, I won't care too much. After floating along in a boat in the middle of a huge lake with hundreds of acres of nothing all around me, I am feeling a lot more peace and serenity. I think I've found my answer for getting away from it all.
I am glad to be home, but I am very glad that we went. It was awesome.
