So this is the story of how I met your mother...
Wait, No, that's not right ...
This is the story of how I met the woman of my dreams.
It starts like any other story,
My friends were throwing a house party
Now, I knew most of the people that were coming to the party, but a new girl had just started renting a room in the house and she was going to come party with us that night.
She walked in and I knew this girl was different, she had tattoos, she had piercings, and her hair was pink and blonde. Needless to say i had not hung out with a girl this cool.
Like most of the parties i went to in University, there was an over abundance of single guys there, so the moment i saw her i turned to my buddies and said "Dibs".
After we partied at the house for a couple hours we decided to go out to the bar. We were drinking and laughing and having a great time and didn't really notice that our friends were gradually leaving. When it was finally last call she looked around and noticed that none of our friends were still there so she asked me to walk her home.
A couple of years later I finally told her this story and she started to laugh. It turns out that she just thought that our friends were being jerks when they left us at the bar. She had no idea that they left so that we could have some alone time to get to know each other.
This story came up again when we started planning our wedding. We planned at 1920's Hollywood theme wedding, and decided to have a couple of fake movie posters made. We had always liked the story of how we met so we incorporated into one poster for a movie called "Forever Dibs.
