Well all has been quiet. Haven't heard much from anyone on here, actually at all. There are a few of you lovelies that I talk to more regularly off of SG but I do miss the sense of community that I sought and found just about a year ago on here. I am far from one who needs or even enjoys to be the center of attention, infact I hate it. I do though enjoy knowing people, I am always (at least as I've been told) an easy to approach, and mild mannered person. In "real life" though I just feel like my opportunities to meet new people are few and far between. Granted being a photographer does give me a great chance to meet and talk to many people they are short lived and never manifest.
So instead I find ways to fill my time, like starting a business that will compete with every free second I had (which wasn't much as it was due to my current 5 years running career). But it excites me, the sense of accomplishment, the overcoming of certain challenges and the potential all become my friends I feel.

Dude, I totally get what you're saying about the community feel, it's as if the mood has slowed down considerably. I thought I was being active, but I guess I have much and more to do. After taking a break from here, I lost so much contact with tons of cool people, and it definitely feels like life (in SGLAND) went on without me. But just know you're not the only one experiencing the isolation. 
Expect better friendship opportunities in the outside world, no matter how few in between those meetings occur.
