Sooo that pain I'd been having in my side? Yah that turned into appendicitis. I went to the hospital right after work on Friday and didn't get home until yesterday. They didn't have to cut a big incision on my right side, it was early enough that they were able to do a laparoscopy so they only cut 3 smaller holes in me. They did surgery Saturday morning. I was on morphine from the time I got there tho until Sunday morning, which was nice.

My abdomen is still super swollen and it hurts to walk and move around, so I'll probably be out of work all week this week, and depending on how sore it is, maybe next week too. The Dr. cleared me to be out that long, but I don't think I have enough sick time left to do that. This hurts like hell still and I'll be glad when it stops. All this, and I have to move in a two and a half weeks, greeaaat . I guess the good news is my mom came into town for the week and is helping at least get some stuff cleaned and packed since I can't right now...

I was gonna post pictures of my staples they have in me, but my camera's not cooperating. Maybe later today I can make it work and post them on here. I'm gonna go take a nap for now though...

EDIT...here's a link to the coolest of the incisions. Sorry for the close up. To give you an idea it's the biggest and it's about half the length of my index finger.
