So the last week was interesting...I heard that my ex and her new boy-toy didn't work out too well, so I derive some sort of sick pleasure from that. Though considering the circumstances, maybe it's somewhat of a vindictive pleasure...

Work was busy, but that's going to be the case for the next month or so. It's funny...I work the "late" shift from 1030-700, but it sure as hell doesn't seem late when I wake up in the morning. For the first weekend in awhile I had a really good one...i drank as much as I wanted to, slept in, smoked, took naps, woke back up and drank some more, and then went to sleep, or at least that was the last two days. After not being single for awhile, and then being single, it's a welcome change.

The best part was tonight since i found a fun little bar that i'm sure I'll be back to, especially since it's less than 2 minutes from me....always a plus when drinking .

The worst part was hearing that George Carlin died....he will go down in history as a controversial comedian, and as such a favorite of mine. His cynicism and sarcasm will never be matched by another. You will be missed George....thank you for the laughter you always provided for me, regardless of how low I felt....
