So to expand on my previous post....I happened to run into a person who was a mutual friend of myself and my ex the other day. I didn't even bring this up, but she told me that my ex was seeing someone else. I wasn't surprised, I more or less knew it was going on. When I asked how long it had been, she said 3 months.....we didn't break up until about a month ago.

I can't believe how stupid I was and how blind it made me. When I look back though I can see all the signs all over the place. It was the normal things, like suddenly very possessive of her phone never having it out. The sex was still great, but she was...disconnected for lack of a better word. We had been making plans to move in together, to buy a house together. Talk of that had all but stopped suddenly...any time I brought it up, the conversation ended pretty quickly. I can't believe it....I'm beginning to think that nice guys will always finish last.

So instead for Memorial day weekend being spent on a trip like was originally planned, it was spent drinking, drinking, and drinking some more, mixed in with some other illegal activities. I slept at day and was awake at night....so needless to say going back to work today was pretty disastrous. I've got to get out of this miserable rut I'm in...quick.
