So my college newspaper published another edition today ... and I was expecting two out of my three articles to make it. Well I opened up the paper and voila! None of my articles made it - this even after the editor told me a minimum of two would be there. I have another three articles to work on for next week's paper ... too bad most of them are follow - ups or about similar subjects to the ones that weren't published this week. Hmmm methinks I may just not do them and avoid the embarassment for a third straight week. I know I'm a pretty good writer and I was told most of the decisions were more about layout but it still doesn't make me feel any better.

But here is where I have changed. Normally I would have just gone oh well, that sucks. Not today ... I'm already working on an underground paper with a few classmates. We have the knowledge and design programs to make this a reality. I can't wait to see the faculty's reaction when they see this new paper - printed on their printers and their paper. The real paper looks like shite anyways ... so it won't take much to make ours stand out.
